URGENT - 4 x PART-TIME SERVICE DESK/1st LINE TECHNICAL SUPPORT ANALYSTS - EAST MIDLANDS - GLOBAL BANK - CONTRACT - £44-£56/day (£11-£14/hour)
PTS Resourcings' client urgently require 4 (FOUR) Part-Time Service Desk/1st Line Technical Support Analysts to compliment their expanding team. You will be required to work a 4 hour shift, Monday - Friday, and there is a degree of flexibility as to which hours you work.
You will be:
* Processing a high number of support calls, helping customers with a consistently high level of care
* Providing 1st line telephone or remote technical support for Front and Back Office Banking staff
* Accurately logging faults on their system (Remedy)
* Working with other teams to resolve all issues
* Make sure all documentation is accurate, amending old or writing new standards and forwarding them around the team.
You must have:
* 1+ years experience working on an IT Service Desk supporting 1000+ customers
* Full knowledge of supporting MS Office (including Outlook) and Windows XP desktop
Ideally you will have:
* Remote Access and Active Directory skills
* Experience of the Banking/Finance industry
* Experience of Remedy call logging system
And you have:
* 1st class communication skills (written and spoken)
* Confidence
* A keen eye for detail
* An affinity with processes
* Reliability
* A calm and effective manner when handling awkward customers
* Strong team skills, and are able to work without supervision
You have possibly come from a Call Centre/Telephony Support or Helpdesk/Service Desk background.
The hiring manager has stated that a basic/general technical knowledge would be advantageous but not the most important criteria.
Having experience in a technical environment (ie college or in a previous role) will enable you to better understand the problems their customers experience and aid them in analysing problems/issues effectively.
