SharePoint / .NET Developer – Asp.NET – C# - WCF / WPF – Investment Bank – London - Contract

PTS’s client, a well-known Investment Bank urgently requires the services of an experienced SharePoint / .NET Developer to work within their Global Voice Strategy & Products team. Previous Investment Banking experience is highly desirable. The role holder will be assigned the following tasks:

      ·   Architect, develop, test, support and document new and existing SP sites for the bank.
  • Work with the existing SP team to deliver quarterly software updates.
  • Design, implementation and support of Windows-based systems, Virtual Machines, networks including Windows 200x Server, IIS, Active Directory, SharePoint.
  • Provide broad consultancy and analysis (system and data) of existing and new SP sites.
  • Provide Document management, application development, custom themes and site branding.
  • Experienced in use of SharePoint 2007 and WSS 3.00, including migration of content between sites and – especially - from SharePoint 2007 to SharePoint 2010.
  • Communicate and document design, architecture and specific solutions.
  • Updating change management records to reflect configuration changes as and when required on Development and test systems as needed.
  • Continual Service Improvement of the Voice SharePoint environment.
The expectation is that, you will develop and maintain new and existing SharePoint sites for the Voice teams.  Your existing knowledge of SP will enable the voice team to migrate legacy SP sites on to SP 2010 more effectively and efficiently.  You will be working with an existing small development team and will be contributing to the architecture and design aspects of the project.

Scheme Project Manager’s (4) – Transport Infrastructure – London – CONTRACT – £330-£370/Day

PTS’s Client, a High Profile Transport Infrastructure Company requires SCHEME PROJECT MANAGERS.  Your role will be to support the Programme Manager in delivering change projects in a safe and environmentally responsible manner to time, cost and quality.  Aswell as providing a professional, consistent and effective project management service within the use of performance indicators and project reporting in accordance to GRIP and HMRI.

You need 3 to 5 years’ construction experience in a Project Management role within change and risk, ideally with a Railway background in an operational station environment.  Experience of working collaboratively and seamlessly with a contractor team, working in your own area of responsibility and being able to manage people is needed.  Internal and external stakeholder management is essential along with knowledge of financial and commercial procedures and awareness.

You must be educated to a HNC/HND level or similar, ideally with a degree or equivalent.  You need to be able to show successful relevant experience including project management, within safety, quality and environmental procedures and have knowledge of Oracle projects.

PTS’s Client, a High Profile Transport Infrastructure Company requires a BUSINESS ANALYST to work within their Access Management Team.  You would be working within a team that is responsible for improving the Access Planning and Possession Delivery processes of the company.  They are looking for someone who is project related to deliver the challenging and transformational projects and to support BUSINESS CHANGE.

PTS’s Client, a High Profile Transport Infrastructure Company URGENTLY require a SCHEME PROJECT MANAGER.  You must be able to deliver projects in a safe and environmental manner in time to cost and quality and within company and Transport guidelines.  You need to be able give a professional, consistent and effective project management service, with performance indicators and reporting systems.

The must have the ability to manage the development and delivery of change projects, tactical change and risks within life cycles for allocated schemes and procedures.  You will need to assist or lead in the provision of a safe working environment and to be able to comply with Investment competence Frameworks.  Also the delivery of regular reports on change projects, including relevant risks and issues will be key and will be delivered to the Programme Manager.

Test Analyst – Investment Bank – CONTRACT – London - £350-£400/Day

PTS's Client, a leading Investment Bank is in URGENT need of a Test Analyst for a new demand to support the test analysis activities on a migration project. The testing in this project is not the regular testing, for example they require the ideal person to have had a hands on experience in ideally a handful of the following; WEBSPHERE, ORACLE GRID, UNIX (Redhat), LEGATO / NETWORKER, VM WARE, MQ or RSA along with testing for these skill sets.

You MUST have extensive Test analysis experience for a minimum of 7 years, aswell as top class QUALITY CENTRE and / or PVCS experience. The need for excellent DEFECT MANAGEMENT and LARGE PROGRAMME experience is absolutely essential. Previous Financials / Investment Banking experience is IMPERATIVE.
