AV/Multimedia Consultant required by PTS Consulting Group PLC, one of the world's leading IT Consultancies. The overall function of the role is to perform the role of Support Consultant for AV/Multimedia:
Provide support to the AV/Multimedia Consultants across a broad range of projects
Provide professional services in the AV/Multimedia field to PTS/MJC Clients throughout implementation stages of projects and support throughout the strategy and design phases
To represent PTS/MJC in a professional manner at all times and to exercise good communication skills at all levels with the Client and when representing the Client
Ensure correct implementation of the Team's objectives and strategies as developed and agreed with the AV/Multimedia Technical Authority
Ensure Team' structure is maintained and enhanced by regularly meeting with all AV/Multimedia Team members
To adopt Support Consultant responsibilities as required as laid down within PTS/MJC' procedures.
Normal duties include:
Reporting directly to the Technical Authority for AV/Multimedia
Providing technical support to PTS/MJC project teams for relocation projects
Assist the AV/Multimedia Consultants in the development of Client strategies
Develop documents and reports in a clear concise manner according to the recognised PTS/MJC format
Assist in the development and drafting of Technical Specifications for all AV/Multimedia products
To gain a detailed understanding of the various AV/Multimedia products and services relevant to the markets PTS/MJC operates in
Provide project status updates as required
Adopt PTS/MJC Project Methodology as required (see Procedures Manual) in development of Project Documentation
Ensure proper evaluation and reporting of man-hours against project Scope of Works
Ensure total awareness of Project deliverables and ensure PTS/MJC' adherence to agreed Scope of Works
Attend and if applicable oversee Project meetings with the project team and client
Ensure that technical skills are kept up to-date and continually improved with each project via on the job' training and exposure to vendor developments and systems
Technical Skills:
Demonstrate a good knowledge of the design of Audio Visual and Video Conferencing systems
Possess a knowledge of relevant standards relating to AV systems
Have recent AV/Multimedia project experience and at least 2 years industry experience
Be aware of key manufacturers and installers of AV equipment
Be aware of power, cooling and containment systems that support AV Equipment
Good knowledge and use of Auto CAD
Ideally you will be Degree qualified in a science, computing or engineering subject. The candidate must have good industry knowledge and experience of AV/Multimedia and Video Conferencing project installations.
