BI Developer – Technology Solutions Provider – Birmingham – PERMANENT – £40k-£50k pa

PTS's Client, a Technology Solutions Provider is in need of a BI Developer to help identify business requirements for data marts and reporting solutions.  You will be helping develop SQL extracts on large transactional data sets and designing and documenting ETL processes.  Also you will be implementing the company data management strategy and designing and delivering report access and delivery methods.

The skills, knowledge and experiences needed for this role are:

- Thorough understanding of Data Warehousing principles and methods
- Strong SQL skills - PL / SQL and T-SQL
- Experience in ETL / Data Warehousing using industry standard ETL tools, e.g. SSIS
- Oracle DW builder, Congos, BO Data Integrator
- Experience working with Microsoft BI Stack - SSIS, SSAS, SSRS
- First class business objective skills - preferably XI R2 or above
- Good communication skills
- Working knowledge of financial procedures, e.g. general ledger, P&L accounts
