Business Support Assistant – Education Consultancy – Bedfordshire – Fixed term Contract – £1375-£1500 per month

Business Support Assistant required by an Education Consultancy part of PTS Consulting Group PLC, one of the world’s leading IT Consultancies. We have been around for over 25 years and have served 2,000 clients in over 70 different countries. Headquartered in the UK, we have 13 offices in Europe and the Middle East (EMEA), the Americas and Asia-Pacific.

This role places a significant emphasis on general business and office duties including; order processing, service call co-ordination and vendor liaison. The role also includes commercial activity and proactive hardware sales.

Your duties would be:
General phone calls – taking customer calls
General co-ordination – Engineer liaison and communications with the wider business
Help desk calls –taking help desk calls; logging and tracking calls and requests and providing initial assessment and advice
Event preparation and support
General office support (liaison with campus management)
Finance support –Liaising with PTS Group finance team for sales order processing. Entering details to Corporate CRM
General office administration and stationery requirements
Proactive sales calls and generating orders – ICT hardware, spare parts and repairs/replacements
Update website with commercial information
Supplier liaison
      - Dealing with 3rd party relationships
      - Product / Solution intelligence
      - Parts research – Ensuring best price and availability
Mailing tasks – Client mail, marketing campaigns and goods in and out deliveries – must be able to lift moderate weight packages such as PCs and Printers
First Aid assistance (subject to training and certification)
Plus any other reasonable tasks the business requires

You must be proficient with Microsoft Office products and have general ICT product awareness, aswell as have GSCE’s or Equivalent in English, Maths and ICT.  Although not essential it would be desirable to have workplace experience in product sales over the phone and customer service within Information and Communications Technology or the Education sector.  A familiarity with NetHelpDesk or other help desk solutions would be advantageous, however training will be provided.
