PTS’s Client, a High Profile Transport Infrastructure Company requires a CAD TECHNICIAN to work within their Access Management Team. The CAD team provides a range of maps, schematic diagrams, technical drawings and geoinformation services to national projects. Support is provided primarily to Enhancement schemes, Traction & Power electrification projects, Property transactions, Network Planning and Asset Management.
You will be providing a specialist CAD service across a range of national projects and asset records. Producing site layouts, engineering and general information drawings, route maps, track layouts and schematics. Aswell as assisting as required with CAD and mapping technical support to external sources and in the production and maintenance of CAD Standards.
If you are an experienced, versatile CAD Technician you must have several years’ experience of Microstation and other Bentley software products and a familiarity with Autocad would more than useful. Knowledge of Cartography and GIS principles would be advantageous, particularly working with Ordnance Survey digital products.
