Graduate/Trainee Consultant required by PTS Consulting Group PLC, one of the world's leading IT Consultancies. As an Graduate/Trainee with 1-3 years experience with Audio Visual/Multimedia, you will be working closely with both Technical Consultants and Project Managers, across different business and technical areas. Initially this role will be largely a support role, during which time you will be expected to develop a good understanding of business processes, a broad range of technologies and apply these skills in undertaking normal day-to-day activities. It is expected that over a period of time your responsibilities will grow in line with your abilities which will be reviewed on a regular basis by a member of the management team. To facilitate this you will undertake both formal and on job training.
The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:
General - working closely with the technical and project management teams, assisting in their activities - delivery of documents, reports and other project documentation.
Administration - production of client reports including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio documentation. Operation of oject specific document control systems.
Administration - assisting in the upkeep of technical library resources and supporting documentation Research- collate and document market intelligence including competitor analysis.
Research technical subjects/new technologies and present to Technical Consultants.
Provide assistance for the upkeep and development of marketing collateral including service line flyers, white papers and case studies.
Support consultants on assignments with input into technical design, project management and report writing.
Required skills and experience:
Minimum of Upper Second Class Degree
Ability to multi-task
Excellent organisational skills
PC skills- MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint,
Ability to use own initiative and be resourceful
Be able to work well within a team
Excellent written and verbal English language skills
Knowledge of AutoCAD is advantageous
