Desktop Support Manager – Transport Infrastructure – Milton Keynes – CONTRACT – £350-£380/Day
PTS’s Client, a High Profile Transport Infrastructure Company requires a DESKTOP SUPPORT MANAGER. Your project will be to build working relationships with Incident, Problem Management and Application Services to formulate and maintain service improvement initiatives, and to build Operational / Service relationship with key Suppliers. Also you will be driving asset supply by working with Suppliers to ensure available capacity can meet forecasted demand, and to drive the asset refresh programme (desktop, laptop, printers and plotters).
Essential requirements are:
• Educated to degree level or relevant experience
• ITIL certified or equivalent Experience in IT Service Management
• Strong leadership and organisational skills
• Excellent Technical support background
• Good presentation skills
• Proven track record in Operational Support area
• Able to understand and extract salient information from complex documentation.
• Knowledge of key performance measures and practical experience of using these to drive performance improvement.
• Commercially and politically aware.
• Influential communicator with excellent persuasion and negotiation skills.
• Energetic and passionate about developing and operating processes that achieve outstanding results.
