IT Service Desk Analyst – Leading Law Firm – London – FIXED TERM CONTRACT – £30k circa

PTS’s Client, a leading Law Firm are in need of an two excellent IT SERVICE DESK ANALYSTS to join their IT Team in London.  Your role will be to ensure proper computer operation so that their internal clients can work efficiently and effectively.  This includes receiving, prioritising, documenting, and actively resolving internal client support incidents and requests.  Resolution may be dealt with remotely or require that the analyst give in-person, hands-on help at the desktop level.

You must have excellent knowledge and experience of all Microsoft Office applications and Microsoft Windows-based operating systems, in particular Windows 2003 and 2010 and Windows XP and 7.  Experience in supporting and/or managing one or more of the following would be advantageous:

- Exchange 2010
- OpenText (Hummingbird) Document Management v5.2 including Matter Centric working
- Digital dictation (BigHand)
- Active Directory
- McAfee AntiVirus Total Protection Suite
- InterAction CRM
- Mitel VoIP telephony
- Microsoft Systems Center Configuration Manager 2007
- BlackBerry devices and BlackBerry Enterprise Server
- IRIS Laserforms
- Aderant Expert 7.5

You will be dealing with customer requests which need to be responded to in a timely manner, call logging, remote support and deskside support (1st & 2nd line) for all IT incidents.  Preparation, basic repair and replacement and network patching of computers, aswell as maintaining inventories are other key aspects of the role.  General administrative duties are required such as user account, inventory management and loan equipment management (cataloguing usage).
