PTS’s Client, a leading
Investment Bank are in need of an excellent PROJECT MANAGER who is an skilled
in IT SECURITY SOLUTIONS DESIGN. You
must have a broad-based technical expertise in Windows and/or Unix/Linux,
preferably with specific knowledge and skills in one or more near real-time
file or system integrity monitoring solutions, and will additionally be
involved in engineering, design and testing of upgrades and new features for
infrastructure.
This position exists within the
Platform Security Engineering team to assist in the evaluation, review,
testing, selection and design of a near real time file/system integrity
monitoring solution for Windows. The setting
up and configuring near real time system integrity monitoring solutions in a
development lab environment and the defining policies for system integrity
monitoring events. Development of test
plans for conducting full functional and performance testing of selected
products against a rigorous set of defined criteria and requirements and integration
with security and performance monitoring tools, ticketing systems, BladeLogic
BBSA and Active Directory.
The initial design, engineering
and planning of infrastructure required to support a global deployment of up to
30,000 servers and identification of further tasks required to enable a
successful product implementation. Aswell
as the completion of engineering, design and testing of upgrades and new
features for infrastructures.
You need to have the ability to
work to tight deadlines under pressure to ensure target dates are met, and that
the chosen solution will ultimately have a successful deployment. There will be a need to liaise with other
engineering teams at a detailed technical level, and to work independently when
required.
