TAM (Technical Account Management) Manager – IT Managed Service Provider – Woking – Permanent – £40k-£45k pa + Benefits

PTS's Client, a Leading IT Managed Service Provider are looking for an experienced TAM (Technical Account Management) Manager who will take a lead role in the in the strategic and operational delivery of the Managed Service.  You will be responsible for the delivery on company contracts throughout the life of that contract, both at a technical and business level.  The ability to engage with key stakeholders to map processes, business demands and proactively design, plan and implement solutions to meet changing needs is essential.

Data Centre / IT Operations Senior Consultant – IT Consultancy – London – Perm - £65k-£75k pa circa

PTS is looking to recruit a Senior IT Consultant with solid Data Centre / IT Operations experience gained in a Corporate / Service Provider / Consultancy position. The Consultant will need to be able to demonstrate experience of delivering industry best practice services, and a solid understanding of market and industry trends. The Consultant will support the PTS EMEA Head of Data Centres in the development and Support of a growing Service Stream across the EMEA region. This role may require some International travel to support Sales and the delivery of assignments.

A good understanding of IT technology (Servers, Storage, Networking), along with a knowledge of Industry trends i.e. Virtualisation, Energy Efficient Data Centres, CLOUD Services etc.  An excellent background in the understanding of Data Centre IT Infrastructure builds principles i.e. Cabinet Cooling techniques (Cold Aisle etc.) Cabling systems (Copper / Fibre), Management Systems (BMS, EMS, KVM, ILO etc.) and the physical builds (UPS, Generators, CRACs, Chillers etc.).  Strong awareness of Operational Best Practices for the delivery of Data Centre Operations and Industry Standards and Frameworks (TIA-942, Uptime Institute, ITIL, ISO-27001, ISO 14001 etc.) is essential.

Experience with Support Sales, Pre Sales, Delivery ownership with an ability to identify new Consultancy opportunities to develop proposals and be able to cross sell across all PTS Service Lines.  The expertise to be able demonstrate and provide Data Centre and IT Subject Matter Expertise and promote self and PTS as industry leaders in the marketplace through written articles.

The Consultant needs to have 10 to 15 years’ experience of working in and delivering an IT / Data Centre Operations service for a Corporate or Service Provider organisation, or the delivery of a similar role as a consultant.  Have Industry based training in a Service Management framework (ITIL/CoBit), a sound management experience of managing Teams in the delivery of IT Services and the ability to demonstrate how to manage complex projects (i.e. Prince2/PMP).

PTS's client a Leading Investment Bank is URGENTLY looking for an APPLICATION MIGRATION TECHNICAL/BUSINESS ANALYST to assist a high profile, large scale project to migrate from and exit multiple Data Centres.  The ideal candidate must have extensive knowledge of typical infrastructure and operating systems that host investment banking applications e.g.: Solaris, Linux, Windows, Sun, HP and be familiar with “re-platforming” applications within that environment.  It is also important that the analyst has an in-depth understanding of server virtualisation technologies.

The relevant experiences required for this opportunity are:

·          Application Migrations

·          Understanding of different platforms and OS types (Solaris, Linux, Windows)

·          Understanding of different migration options (lift and shift, swing, refresh, virtualisation)

Fx Market Access Developer - Investment Bank - London – Contract – £410-£450pd

PTS’s Client, a leading Investment Bank are in URGENT need of an experienced Fx Market Access Developer.  The FX eTrading group is a global team providing services directly to the global FX business within the largest bank in the Euro zone by deposits.  The team is concerned with the development, support and release of solutions providing discreet functionality, driven by the global FX business.  The systems are used globally with major server hubs across the Globe.

The FX business is committed to raising its level through investment in the business and technology, and has recently authorised a new investment programme for the front office IT platform.  The strategy revolves around the iterative development of all areas of the FX platforms, from client distribution, price generation to algorithmic trading. Performance is a must and the connectivity needs always to be adapted.

Based in London and reporting to the head of FX Direct Market Access development team, this role involves working closely with the front office as part of a small team to develop and maintain all DMA connectivity within our infrastructure.

The role of a Senior IT Service Management Consultant covers a wide variety of business and service sectors. The ideal candidate needs to be University (or equivalent) Degree Qualified in Informatics, Business Management or similar, and have attained the APMG ITIL V3 Expert certificate, and be able to demonstrate sound knowledge of complimentary frameworks such as MOF and CobiT.  A proven ability to implement ITIL best practice within financial services, legal or similarly demanding business areas would be advantageous.
