PTS’s Client, a leading
Investment Bank are in URGENT need of an experienced Fx Market Access Developer. The FX eTrading group is a global team
providing services directly to the global FX business within the largest bank
in the Euro zone by deposits. The team
is concerned with the development, support and release of solutions providing
discreet functionality, driven by the global FX business. The systems are used globally with major
server hubs across the Globe.
The FX business is committed to
raising its level through investment in the business and technology, and has
recently authorised a new investment programme for the front office IT
platform. The strategy revolves around
the iterative development of all areas of the FX platforms, from client
distribution, price generation to algorithmic trading. Performance is a must
and the connectivity needs always to be adapted.
Based in London and reporting to
the head of FX Direct Market Access development team, this role involves
working closely with the front office as part of a small team to develop and
maintain all DMA connectivity within our infrastructure.
Skills / Qualifications:
The candidate must have the
following skills and qualities:

A computer science/equivalent degree from a top institute
·
A number of years’ experience working in a
finance environment
·
Proactive and flexible approach to dealing with
challenges
·
Highly motivated to work directly with traders
·
Strong communication skills
·
Strong analytical skills
·
Strong C++ development skills including
experience with multi-threaded programming, performance optimization
The following experience would
be desirable:
·
Experience of FX business
·
Experience of DMA
·
Experience of high-performance / low latency
development (FPGA)
·
Proven ability to deliver front office systems
