Solution Delivery Team Leader – Dundee – Permanent - £55K + bonus

PTS’ client is looking for an experienced Solution Delivery Team Leader to join their busy and rapidly expanding business in Dundee. You will bring clear leadership to their innovative and excellent Solutions Delivery Team by providing high level support to new business wins in both new and existing customers.

Role/Responsibilities

·         Setting and maintaining high technical standards within the solutions produced by the team.

·         Ensuring that the quality of documentation, including Statements of Work and Design Documents, are kept at the highest level.

·         Ensuring that Project Delivery is maintained by leading and directing the Project Delivery Team Leader in the tasks and responsibilities of that role.

·         Work as part of a team of Architects available to act as Design Authorities on new Projects.

Essential Skills, knowledge and qualifications

·         Understanding of the solution design process from originating requirement to supported system.

·         MCSE/MCTS and CCNP or greater certifications, or evidence of equivalent experience.

·         Experience with Enterprise Storage Solutions (Dell/EMC, NEC, NetApp, Sun)

·         5+ years experience managing Enterprise Server Infrastructures, including design and implementation or both Microsoft and Unix environments.

·         5+ years experience within a hosting/telco environment.

·         3+ years experience with a majority of the following list: Active Directory, DNS, Microsoft DFS, VMWare (or other virtualisation technology), Tape Libraries and Backup Software (Backup Exec, NDMP), Microsoft Exchange, SQL Server, Sharepoint, BES, IIS,

·         3+ years working within a High Availability infrastructure, including maintaining Disaster Recovery options.

·         3+ years providing leadership in the delivery of technical projects.

·         University degree

Experience with

·         Cisco Routers, ASA/PIX Firewalls, TCP/IP, SNMP, SQL DBA
