Software Developer - Communications - Hertford - Permanent - Between £25k to £35k

PTS’s Client, a leading Communications Company are in URGENT need of a SOFTWARE DEVELOPER with a full working knowledge of SQL SERVER (2005 and/or 2008), including SECURITY and MAINTENENCE.  A MINIMUM of 2 years’ experience in a similar role is essential, whilst working with bespoke solutions and COTS applications is required.

It is ESSENTIAL that you have .NET Programming experience, with a very good understanding of XML technologies.  Knowledge of GEO-SPATIAL DATA HANDLING is a must along with a working understanding of SSIS, SSRS or other reporting/BI Solutions.  You will need to have Good MS Office Skills, very good understanding of Telecoms and experience in development/customisation of GUI’s.

You will need the ability to grasp and apply complex new technologies very quickly, have a good technical understanding, whilst being flexible.  A strong work ethic with the ability to work independently, whilst being determined, confident, flexible and proactive is a necessity.
