TECHNICAL PROJECT MANAGER (DELIVERY) - MOBILE APPLICATIONS - LONDON AND HOME WORKING - 6 MONTHS MINIMUM CONTRACT PTS Resourcing are working exclusively with a World Leader in Mobile Applications Development, and they require an experienced MOBILE APPLICATIONS DELIVERY PROJECT MANAGER. For the first 6-8 weeks of the contract you'll be based in their London Office, and thereafter you'll work from home, with occasional London meetings (c.2 per month). You will be responsible for the day-to-day management and delivery of their mobile software projects . Reporting to the Chief Technical Officer and liaising with internal and outsourced development teams and designers, you will lead the process of devising project plans and keeping multiple projects on track against milestones and timescales agreed with our clients. You will be responsible for managing feedback/requirement changes/expectations and bug handling. You will be the first line of quality assurance of the project deliverables before they leave the company. You will also work with the development teams to uncover and escalate any technical challenges that may pose a threat to the delivery schedule, and liaise with their management to determine the best course of action. You will facilitate meetings between project stakeholders as and when required. You will have good experience managing technical projects and pipelines, and the proven ability to show initiative to navigate through technical challenges. While you do not necessarily have to be a Developer yourself, you will have a good general knowledge of mobile software and an understanding of software development methodologies and realities. It is vital that you are able to maintain a rapport with Developers and Designers. It is envisaged that you will develop and maintain project plans using MS Project or compatible management software. Experience using web-based issue tracking software is essential. Familiarity with iPhone/Android application development, and Ruby-on-Rails/PHP development would be a distinct advantage. You must have really strong reporting experience, as you'll be preparing daily progress reports and updates, coupled with strong gap analysis and closure experience.
