Product Solutions Manager – Permanent – East Kilbride - £40k + benefits

PTS’ client, a leading software development company working at the cutting edge of their sector, is looking to bring into their team 2 new Product Solutions Managers. I am looking for one person who has domain knowledge in the cards (eg credit cards) industry and one who specialises in the transport area with domain market knowledge in transport, ITSO and other requirements in the transport space.

You will have responsibility for the development, delivery and execution of the product strategy. Additionally, you will work with the product development team to define the product strategies and roadmap in accordance with the overall business strategy.  The successful candidates will continually review product strategies in line with the changing market and business strategy, ensuring the product is always market-driven to maximise revenues and commercial opportunities.

Essential

·         Proven commercial acumen, developing successful products into the market.

·         Expert in pricing and product positioning with a sound understanding of the markets/customers the products are being sold into.

·         Manage & deliver product launch of new products and product versions including, marketing, testing, documentation, training, support, communication, pricing and packaging.

Skills:

·         Proven ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines

·         Excellent people influencing skills

Knowledge & Experience:

·         Domain knowledge of the market into which the solutions will be sold, supported by a network of connections

·         A degree in Marketing, Product Management or a Business-related discipline or Computer Science (or equivalent)

·         Must be flexible to travel (the successful candidate may be required to attend national/ international trade events and meetings on occasion)
