Hands on Digital Manager - Edinburgh - £50K

We are currently looking for an experienced Web Development Management to managed a small team of highly skilled and motivated .Net developers working on a number of exciting web projects.  division.

In this role you will report directly to the CTO, but also work closely with the rest of the team including the Client Services and Digital Director.

You will be:

• A strong leader/manager from a technical background, with good written and verbal communications, with a solid understanding of how to apply pragmatic software engineering practices to the production of high quality, robust web sites.
• Expected to provide leadership assistance and guidance to colleagues in any aspect of software design, creation, testing and documentation.
• Ability to work in a pre sales and post sale capacity to capture client requirements and provide tender responses and work estimations.
Responsibilities will include: -

• Scoping, estimating, projects and with a particular focus on CMS, for client requirements, and communicating clearly with the team and clients regarding the proposed solution. 
Leading a team of web developers with skills in.

• ASP.Net, C#, XML / XSLT,HTML / CSS / JavaScript,CMS
• A digital agency background

You will need to have strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills. A clear and concise articulator of ideas, you’ll be persuasive and credible in front of clients, or prospective clients, at all levels.
