WebSphere Administrator immediately required for a 6-month contract where you will be working on a project which runs alongside a large-scale programme for a Global Financial organisation. This is a Technical Delivery role within the WebSphere Project Team therefore; you must have sufficient knowledge of the technologies and their deployment to be able to deliver within a WebSphere service context. You will also be providing technical expertise on allocated projects.
As WebSphere Administrator you will be expected to have strong commercial experience, ideally within a large financial environment in addition to the following:
· 3+ years’ experience of WebSphere Application Server / WebSphere Portal
· UNIX or Z/OS
· Proven success in delivery of high quality, cost effective infrastructure services in a complex environment
· Proven ability to plan and execute workload in a dynamic environment
You will have the ability to manage complex workloads, meeting deadlines within budget. You must be team orientated, customer & process focused, highly motivated and able to work in a pressurised environment. Good knowledge of technical infrastructure and the ability to communicate technical issues effectively and concisely to varied audiences both written and verbally.
