Configuration Test Manager urgently required by a World-Leading Investment Bank based in London. You will be working alongside a large programme supporting the configuration management activities. It is therefore highly desirable that you have come from a financial background and that you have worked on large-scale projects or programmes in recently held roles.
You must be able to define a configuration management process or be involved in customizing it and it would be nice to have some project management experience. The duties of this role include:
· Define the Programme configuration management process (or lead customization of process) and implement
· Responsible for creating and maintaining a configuration management DB containing all Configuration Items included in the migration programme.
· The Configuration manager is responsible for the identification, control, status and verification of all Configuration Items involved (Hardware, services, applications, support tools).
· The configuration manager should be responsible for providing a controlled software and infrastructure promotion process from the source production environments to the target environments including all non-production (ST, ET....).
· He/she will work closely with the change manager and release manager in ensuring proper changes for predefined releases only contain Configuration Items and their versions already defined in the Configuration DB.
