PTS’s Client, a leading
Investment Bank are in URGENT need of an experienced Platform Security Engineer
for an off-the-shelf solution to help detect and report weak file share
permissions across Windows, Unix and Linux servers within the Bank. This is a technical lead role in the
evaluation, testing, selection, design and engineering of a solution to meet
technical and functional requirements.
A detailed knowledge and experience
of Windows server is required, and specifically SMB/CIFS and NTFS
permissions. Similar experience of SAMBA
and NFS access controls and permissions is preferred. Previous experience in the engineering and
design of solutions in a large global organisation is required, preferably with
a focus on security solutions. With knowledge
in one or more vendor solutions specifically designed to detect and report weak
file share permissions would be beneficial.
