My client, a leading business in the Mobile Applications Development space, is currently seeking a contractor to work on a number of exciting projects within their organisation.
The organisation currently has a book-related application platform in iOS, several releases of which are available already, and requires a highly motivated individual to provide a like-for-like implementation on the Android 2.0 platform. Once the implementation is complete, the postholder will be responsible for creating customised releases of the Android version for a number of author/publisher projects until at least the end of Q1 2011, along side the iOS releases.
This is a fantastic opportunity to have your applications seen and utilised by a huge audience and will be an outstanding post for an experienced mobile developer.
To be successful in your application, you should possess the following experience/skills:
1. 1-2 years experience with mobile applications development;
2. Demonstrable experience of Android development;
3. Previous application development experience, either independently or as part of a consultancy environment;
4. Excellent communication skills;
5. A creative and forward-thinking approach.
