PTS’s Client, a leading Investment Bank are in URGENT need of an experienced C# Risk Analyst / Developer.  Investment Banking experience is highly desirable (Derivatives Front Office and/or Interest Rate Risk would be especially valuable).  This role would suit someone who enjoys working on solving business problems, and is happy taking ownership of a requirement and implementing it in both the UI and the server.

Essential skills / attributes:

- C# development and the Microsoft .NET framework

- High-performance multi-threaded server side development

- UI development (WPF preferred, Winforms acceptable)

- SQL

- Structured approach to software development

- Very high level of motivation and dedication to the project

- Strong communication skills

Advantageous skills / attributes:

- Knowledge of acceptance test frameworks and mocking frameworks

- C++

- Analysis Services (MDX, SSIS, SSRS)

- Software development Agile or Waterfall

APPLICATION SUPPORT ANALYST – TRANSPORT INFRASTRUCTURE – LONDON – CONTRACT - £100-£120/DAY

PTS’s Client, a High Profile Transport Infrastructure Company requires an APPLICATION SUPPORT ANALYST.  Your role will be to support BAU support to system users across a range of applications including ELLIPSE, RDMS and FMS.  You need to be able to document standards and procedures for ongoing analysis and to facilitate service requests, data and process changes as directed.  The ability to communicate analysis results, respond to user queries and to be able to actively record all work undertaken are essential.

An excellent knowledge of MICROSOFT OFFICE applications is needed, with well-developed skills in the use of EXCEL and ACCESS are essential.  A good working experience of ORACLE DATABASE structures is desirable aswell as the use of SQL language.  Experience of using and developing reports in Oracle Discoverer, Business Objects or similar equivalent solutions is also desirable.

You must have excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively at all levels is imperative, aswell as the ability to adapt readily to changing work and responsibilities when needed to provide proactive and reactive support.
