C# Risk Analyst / Developer - Investment Bank - London – Contract – Market Rates

PTS’s Client, a leading Investment Bank are in URGENT need of an experienced C# Risk Analyst / Developer.  Investment Banking experience is highly desirable (Derivatives Front Office and/or Interest Rate Risk would be especially valuable).  This role would suit someone who enjoys working on solving business problems, and is happy taking ownership of a requirement and implementing it in both the UI and the server.

Essential skills / attributes:

- C# development and the Microsoft .NET framework

- High-performance multi-threaded server side development

- UI development (WPF preferred, Winforms acceptable)

- SQL

- Structured approach to software development

- Very high level of motivation and dedication to the project

- Strong communication skills

Advantageous skills / attributes:

- Knowledge of acceptance test frameworks and mocking frameworks

- C++

- Analysis Services (MDX, SSIS, SSRS)

- Software development Agile or Waterfall
