Data Centre / IT Service Migration Project Manager – Leading IT Consultancy – London – PERM – upto £65,000pa


PTS is looking to recruit a Senior Technical IT Project Manager with experience in the Migration of Data Centre IT Services.  The ideal candidate will need to be able to demonstrate a sound methodology and experience of having performed this role before and a sound Project Management skillset.

Aswell as the above the Project Manager will need to demonstrate an ability to structure the Project and to communicate effectively, areas that need to be completed at an early stage of the project.  Have the experience of delivering previous IT Infrastructure Projects to budget and on time, with prior involvement of successful delivery of an IT Infrastructure Procurement exercise and an ability to gain Project buy in of the IT Technical team at an early stage of the Project.

Anybody looking to apply should have around 7 years’ experience in a Project Manager role, with a Project Management Qualification (I.e. Prince2), aswell as the delivery of at least one Data Centre / IT Service Migration Project.  A sound understanding of IT Infrastructure components and how they interconnect with sound written, spoken and presentation skills in English.  Aswell as having managed technical teams either directly or in matrix model and third party service relationships for the delivery of IT services.

Project Managers x 2 – IT Services Company – London – PERMANENT – £50k-£80k pa + Benefits

PTS's Client, a Leading IT Services Company is looking for two (2) Project Managers who will be responsible for managing one or more projects and working with the BAs, Subject Matter Experts, and other stakeholders to deliver the change activity.

Experience required for this role is:
3 - 5 years Project Management experience gained in a Financial Services environment
Knowledge and experience of working on AML, Sanctions, or Transaction Monitoring and screening projects
Experience working with senior stakeholders and a matrix team of resources (i.e. not dedicated to the project)

Typical job titles or projects for previous roles would be “AML”, “Sanctions”, “Sanctions or payments screening”, “Transaction Monitoring”.  Experience of the below would be beneficial but not essential:
Experience of Barclays or other Large Bank
Experience of Oracle OEDQ OWS (Datanomics)
Experience of Lombardi

PTS’s Client, a leading Investment Bank are in need of an excellent PROJECT MANAGER who is an expert in MOBILE VOICE RECORDING (M-VRT).  You MUST have experience of the first repetition of M-VRT deployment in the City.  Aswell as being experienced in Business facing Project Management, with the skills to lead Business and Compliance Stakeholders.

Your objectives and deliverables in Project Managing the selection and deployment of the 'next generation' Mobile Phone Voice Recording platform are:

- Lab evaluation of viable platforms
- RFI/RFP/Recommendation Paper proposing the optimal solution
- 5yr cost of ownership breakdown
- Project plans (above + deployment)
- Documentation / progress reports / meeting etc. ensuring stakeholder updates / review / approval etc
- Complying to FSA regulation 10/17

PTS’s Client, a High Profile Transport Infrastructure Company URGENTLY require a PROJECT MANAGER to work with the Telecoms section of their Asset Management team.  Telecoms Asset Management is a single, national, integrated organisation which will support core railway requirements, such as signaling, as well supporting the direction towards a devolved business model. The team will be responsible for all of our telecoms assets, strategy and policy decisions including operating, maintaining and enhancing our infrastructure and delivery of the service to the customer.

Using your expertise in Project Management, you’ll enjoy implementing and monitoring an exciting variety of telecoms projects, ensuring they’re engineered to the high standards we expect.  
Managing all engineering activities, you’ll ensure the projects you work on are of an incredibly high standard and result in value-for-money schemes.  Naturally they will expect each and every project to be environmentally responsible, while meeting our expectations regarding time, cost and quality.

Project Manager – Transport Infrastructure – London – CONTRACT - £450-£480/Day

PTS’s Client, a High Profile Transport Infrastructure Company URGENTLY require a PROJECT MANAGER to provide support for assets system such as Ellipse, GEOGIS etc to the Engineering and Maintenance Functions.  The work to be undertaken by the successful applicant will be integral to both the data collection and verification activity which is a key element of the Asset Information Strategy initiative.

Asset Systems will be taking the lead in the Asset Information Strategy initiative which is a vital element in ensuring that the companies’ asset data is of a suitable quality to enable the company to submit accurate submissions for funding.  Asset systems has also recently taken responsibility for delivering the ADIP project which is another data quality initiative mainly focused on ensuring that maintenance activity on a given asset type is conducted in a uniform manner across the whole country.

To project manage a number of Asset Data Improvement projects supporting ongoing data quality improvement initiatives. Responsibilities will include:

Essential:
·         Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant subject
·         Excellent interpersonal, management and communication skills
·         Substantial proven experience in project management
·         Excellent knowledge of project controls processes and systems
·         Proven experience in managing and developing teams to achieve high performance
·         Proven ability to work with a wide range of industry stakeholders to understand requirements

Desirable:
·         Membership of a relevant professional body with chartered status
·         Knowledge of the rail industry and its regulatory framework
·         Knowledge of the principles of investment processes and procedures
·         Experience of working in a commercial environment in a project management role
