Pre-Sales Consultant – Infrastructure – Microsoft – Citrix - VMware
We urgently require an experienced Pre-Sales Consultant with a technical background to work for a leading Global IT Service Provider & Systems Integrator. This award-winning, Microsoft Gold Partner offers innovative IT Solutions to a broad range of blue chip organisations across a variety of industry sectors. Based in their London office, you will be responsible for pre-sales activities with a focus on End-user Computing capabilities. This will involve:
· Pre-sales activities for Microsoft-based services engagements
· Preparation of tender requirements and submission
· Writing proposals and statements of work
· Working closely with sales team to generate leads and opportunities
· Selecting and/or reviewing approaches and standards to suit client challenges and opportunities
· Recommend projects and initiatives for quick wins and longer term business improvement
· Confidently scope complex or critical IT programmes as well as high level business cases
· Ensuring regular, clear and diligent communication across senior IT stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have solid technical skills and know-how to assist in technical solution selling and will have recognised leadership capabilities in information management solutions across a variety of functions and scales. Other required specialisms include:
· Experience of end-user computing solutions across a variety of business and IT functions – including knowledge of solution areas and vendors such as Microsoft, Citrix, VMware, VDI, MSOffice, desktop migration
· Proven value delivery through complex, large scale solutions from business case to project review.
· Strong leadership around solution design with proven business to IT alignment skills.
· Thought leadership in information assessment, categorisation, integration and management solutions.
· Expertise around business critical & business continuity solutions.
