PMO Coordinator / Junior Project Manager - CONTRACT

PTS Consulting have exclusively been tasked with resourcing an experienced (min 2 years) PMO Coordinator / Junior Project Manager to join a rapidly expanding Mobile Applications Development Company. Our client has won vast cutting-edge new business deals and we've successfully placed a number of highly skilled and experienced iPad/iPhone/Android/PHP/Ruby Developers with them.

This is a very exciting time for our client, who now require a tenacious individual to ensure all development work is completed on time and to the highest standards. You will have worked on numerous concurrent full development life-cycle projects, preferably to recognised methodologies (e.g. Prince2/ITIL), as you'll be the interface between the management and development teams. You will need to be fully conversant with MS Project and be able to take ownership of project timelines within a global team. The term of the contract is 4+ Months, and the rate is £175-225/day, depending on relevant experience.

Senior BI Developer - Investment Bank - London - CONTRACT

PTS Consulting has been tasked with resourcing a highly experienced Senior BI Developer for one of the Worlds' Leading Investment Banks. This is a full life-cycle development project where you'll be responsible for designing and developing their Data Mart, Cubes (SSAS), MIS Database (SQL Server 2008), ETL processes (SSIS) and Dashboards (SSRS). You are already an expert with MDX Scripting & Queries with strong DataWarehouse Design skills, and preferably have experience of .NET within SQL Server (SSIS/SSAS).

You will be able to demonstrate your knowledge of FX and Electronic Trading, desirably gained recently within the Banking Sector, and my client will be particularly interested if you have commercial knowledge of .NET, C# and SQL Server 2008 R2.

Infrastructure Network Engineer – CONTRACT

Infrastructure Network Engineer – 4 week Contract – Glasgow - £240 to £260 per day.

PTS Resourcing are looking to find an experienced infrastructure / network engineer to refresh an entire system during an initial 4 week contract for my client in Glasgow. You will also review an existing backup strategy and an existing SAN which needs upgrading.

 You will be an excellent all rounder but ideally will have extensive experience in:

1 HP SAN

2 Server install and config

3 Cisco switches and Routers

4 Domain migration

5 Exchange

MCSE would be a plus.

Android Developer - CONTRACT

My client, a leading business in the Mobile Applications Development space, is currently seeking a contractor to work on a number of exciting projects within their organisation.

The organisation currently has a book-related application platform in iOS, several releases of which are available already, and requires a highly motivated individual to provide a like-for-like implementation on the Android 2.0 platform. Once the implementation is complete, the postholder will be responsible for creating customised releases of the Android version for a number of author/publisher projects until at least the end of Q1 2011, along side the iOS releases.

iOS Developer (iPhone & iPad) - CONTRACT

My client, a leading organisation within the Mobile applications Development space, is urgently seeking a highly motivated individual to take on an existing iPhone Xcode project and continue its development and evolution.

The project is a book-related platform which can be customised, and my client will require the successful applicant to get up to speed with the existing Xcode project very quickly, and then be able to perform future customisations for up-coming client releases.

In addition they will require a number of modifications to the existing project, including extending it to the iPad. This engagement will last until the end of Q1 2011, during which time there could be 10-12 public releases for which the postholder will be responsible for the iOS aspects.

To be successful in your application you should possess the following skills/experience:
1.  Minimum of 1-2 years iPhone development experience;
2.  Demonstrable experience of Apple OSX/Xcode;
3.  Previous application development experience, either independently or as part of a consultancy environment;
