PTS’s Client, a High Profile Transport Infrastructure Company URGENTLY requires a SCHEME PROJECT MANAGER.  Your role will be to support the Project Manager in delivering a variety of projects.  You will help co-ordinate the commissioning, design and construction through to safety and finance and testing.

You MUST have a TRANSPORT background, aswell ashaving TELECOMS experience (ideally with GSM-R SYSTEMS).  A knowledge of working within ENGINEERING and PROJECT MANAGEMENT is a must have requirement for this role. You will need to show examples of having led and supported upgrades in operational (live) systems within your previous roles.

In addition to this you must be proficient in using Microsoft Project, the production of Project Reports (progress and investigations) and be able to Manage Issues and Risks.

Key tasks:

•Build SUSE core v9 and associated software components onto the new replacement physical hardware.

•Build Scalix V11.4.6.5113 and associated components onto the new replacement hardware.

•Housekeep and archive existing email platform to ensure optimum pre-migration state.

•Migrate Scalix environment onto new physical tin.

•Hand-hold and provide go-live assistance for the new environment.

There is an existing Scalix instance supporting 500 users (725 email addresses) with 65Gb of email data (as part of the housekeeping exercise we expect this to reduce drastically both in terms of users and total email data).

The candidate will have excellent STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT experience, so as to keep stakeholders upto date with progress, issues and any new developments that occur.  You must be able to manage a TRANSITION of change within the industry and to agree communications with Government and Corporate affairs.

PTS Consulting's client, a leading Investment Bank, urgently require 3 Senior Testers with Financial Systems Testing experience. You will have large programme experience - the roles could last at least 15 months.

Due to a huge Data Centre Migration project, our client needs highly experienced Testers with good HP Quality Center and/or PVCS experience coupled with strong Defect Management skills. Your experience level should be around 10 years, although less will be considered if you have Project Management and/or Test Management certification.

You'll be liaising with the SMEs, planning and co-ordinating the requirements gathering and testing for Applications Managers, Portfolio Managers and the Business Team Managers.

PTS’s Client, a High Profile Transport Infrastructure Company is in URGENT need of a PROJECT PLANNER.  Using your expertise you will work closely with programme and project managers by DEVELOPING a project work breakdown structure, so projects can be monitored efficiently and professionally.  A strong knowledge of earned value management and milestone and KPI reporting is essential to help you keep control of a variety of projects.

The candidate will have extensive experience in working with PRIMAVERA P3e / PRIMAVERA P5 and P6 and an excellent understanding of the wider PROJECT MANAGEMENT FRAMEWORK. Experience in MANAGEMENT, PLANNING or DELIVERY of major construction and engineering projects.  Experience with TILOS time change software is a high priority.

Knowledge of investment programmes and project controls processes systems is IMPERTAIVE, aswell as being able to manage data in a proficient and competent manner.  It is not necessary for you to have a Transport Infrastructure background, in fact what will set you apart will be your MOTIVATION and NATURAL FLAIR for dealing with people at all levels.
